Job Description
Our client is a reputable, medium sized developer based near Bishop’s Stortford. They specialise in delivering high end new build properties across East Anglia and have won multiple awards in recent years for their work. They’ve come out of the lockdown period in a very strong position and have secured a number of new land deals for next year with developments reaching 110 units. As a result, they are currently searching for a quantity surveyor to come on board to assist with the added workload.
Responsibilities:
- Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues to protect the business
- Set the budget and coding to the relevant cost codes
- Preparing and raising sub-contractor orders
- Final accounting sub-contractor accounts
About you:
- Stable career history
- A minimum of 3 years’ at Quantity Surveyor level
- Experience working on residential projects
- A quantity surveying degree would be advantageous but not essential
