Future Build are currently working alongside an industry leading tier one contractor in their search for an Assistant Estimator.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a £500 million turnover business, with plans for this continue growing year on year. They deliver a mixture of high specification new build and fit out projects across a variety of sectors.
Due to the continued growth of the business they are looking to hire an Assistant Estimator. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with a good understanding of the construction industry looking to eventually progress into an Estimator. They must be hardworking with the determination to develop and succeed within a fast-paced estimating team. They are open to candidates from either an Estimating or Quantity Surveying background.
Responsibilities:
- Analysing tender documentation to generate required supply chain enquires, tender queries and tender strategy
- Assist in all aspects of the tender preparation from initial enquiry to submission
- Issuing of enquiries to sub-contractors for project specific packages
- Developing good working relationships with the supply chain
- Carry out take-offs from drawings to produce accurate quantities for pricing
