Job Description
Our client is a well established and reputable main contractor based in Cambridgeshire. They currently turnover £50m, and are steadily growing each year. They currently focus predominantly on new build and refurbishment projects up to around £8m, typically in the residential and education sectors. They work closely with multiple housing associations, a market which is proving to be one of the most profitable in the current time. As well as this, they have earned themselves a place on the SCAPE framework for Essex and Suffolk.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting first principles and take offs
- Manage tender bids
- Agreeing subcontract accounts
- Obtaining quotations from subcontractors
About you:
- Minimum three years’ experience as a standalone estimator
- Stable career history with medium sized main contractors
- Desire to stay with a company long-term and progress
- Based locally in Cambridgeshire / Suffolk
