Job Description
We are currently Recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has previous experience working on various sized Drylining packages across London and surrounding home counties. This role will suit someone who has worked on multiple Drylining projects across various sectors including Residential, Commercial, Retail, Education, and leisure. The right candidate would have strong knowledge of projects that involve works including Drywall partitions, Glazed Partitions, various Ceilings systems, SFS, and Render and screed.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs
- Manage the cost of the construction project through to completion.
- Monitoring cost variations and writing reports
- Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments
About you:
- Ideally holding a degree in Surveying & Commercial management but not essential
- Thorough experience of all Drylining works
- Prior experience working on Drylining packages up to several million pounds in value
- Being able to work successfully alongside other professions.
- Proven loyalty and longevity in employment history.
