Job Description
We are currently searching for an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to head up the commercial function for a privately owned main contractor operating across multiple sectors. Based on London they have been operating for over 50 years delivering schemes for clients in London and the surrounding counties. The ideal candidate would have experience at MQS level and aspirations to progress into a Commercial Directors role in the future. Project values are between £1 million and £12 million and cover residential, industrial, education and commercial sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Surveyors
- Run the businesses largest schemes
- Have input into the companies short, medium and long term strategy
- Take on a broader leadership role within the business
About you:
- Experience leading a team
- Used to looking after multiple projects
- Personable and able to motivate and drive results
- Experience working with SME’s is desirable
